Hi Yushan,

I love your storyboard and I think the message is very straightforward. I personally really love the font that you chose for the word HARDY PUFFS, it somehow brings me back to the old 80s. Also, I love how you link the product cigarette to the energy level, as it is often known that smoking cigarette helps you calm down and relax and even boost energy for people who smoke more frequently. This storyboard has successfully created the emotional connection between the product and audience especially with those who smoke to reduce their stress. Hi Yuhan,

Great work with the wiki this week. I think you have a great story you’re telling which presents a problem that many people can relate to, and then proposes a solution which the brand can provide, and then shows the results of that solution. It’s a classic marketing technique and it works well. I really like the brand name as it plays on the masculinity, and I’m assuming males are your target audience. I really like the font and colouring you have chosen, and im not really to sure what appeals to me, but the grey/beige colouring just seems to suit the orange of the cigarette filter and the font really nicely. I think you have just chosen 2 really warm colours that invite consumers and readers into the narrative and we want to read further.

Furthermore, I think you have engaged really nicely with the idea of an EXPERIENCE being the main proponent of…

Great work with this week's task Yuhan. From first sight of the storyboard, the viewer is intrigued and eager to delve into the specifics of the image. The use of the same neutral orange tone as the canvas for the storyboard provides a sense of cohesion and makes the story quite easy to follow. The use of the same background and colours pieces provide the sense that these images follow each other rather than being stand alone. These features coupled with the use of text at the bottom of each image tell a compelling and humorous story, making it clear what the purpose of the storyboard is (being pro smoking). Here are some suggestions which in my opinion could improve…
